March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month
Colon and rectal cancer is becoming increasingly prevalent in our society as the population ages. This year, over 143,000 people will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer and over 51,000 will die of the disease. It affects women and men equally. With proper screening, this deadly cancer can be diagnosed early or prevented altogether.
